 Primary Instructor:  Steven A. Moses

 

 

Our primary instructor is Steven Moses, who has conducted weapons and tactics courses for approximately 15 years.  Moses is a Texas peace officer (reserve) and a Special Response Group Sergeant, member of the Texas Tactical Police Officers Association, active in the executive protection field, and author of numerous magazine articles on weapons and tactics.  Steve is the author of "Carbine & Shotgun Speedshooting", a resource book dedicated to beginning shooters interested in a "nuts-and bolts" understanding of basic mechanical shooting skills.  An active competitive shooter, Moses holds an International Defensive Pistol Association Master rating and was High Lawman at the 2006 Tactical Conference and Polite Society Match held in Memphis, Tennessee.  He has finished in the top ten in that event for 3 of the last 4 years.  Steve studied martial arts for approximately 8 years, including jujitsu and Filipino knife fighting, and earned a 2nd degree Black Belt in Tae Kwon Do.

Hany Mahmoud holds a Master Peace Officer License and a Masters degree in Criminology and Criminal Justice. He is a TCLEOSE firearms instructor who has graduated from the FBI Firearms Instructor School, and is the firearms instructor and armorer for his department. Mahmoud is currently attached to an ongoing executive protection detail in the D/FW area, and a graduate of multiple weapons and tactics courses. An outstanding shooter who is a member of the Glock Shooting Sports Foundation Hall of Fame, Hany is an excellent instructor who has taught hundreds of men and women how to correctly run a gun and prevail in deadly situations. Hany is SWAT-certified and has repeatedly demonstrated his willingness to "walk the walk", and is the Recovery Car driver and Point Man for his departments Special Response Group.
 

 
 

 
Eddy Kay Ray has over a decade of experience in Executive Protection,  Asset Protection, and Hostile Workplace and Strike Security.  She is a state-certified Level Three Security Officer and Level 4 Personal Protection Officer, and former Assistant Security Director for a high-profile 140-acre, 90,000 square foot campus facility with 20,000 members. Ms. Ray has successfully completed over 25 weapon and tactics courses covering such subjects and defensive firearms, PSD motorcade driving, CQB tactics, and hostage rescue.  Eddy Kay is a gifted martial arts instructor that possesses rankings in the following martial art systems:
 

San Sai Ryu Kenjutsu/ Aikijutsu,

Black Belt, 3rd Degree, San Sai Ryu Karate

Black Belt, 3rd  Degree, Tae Kwon Do

Black Belt, 2nd Degree, American Kenpo

Black Belt, 2nd Degree, Tsukami Jujutsu


 
Leonard Head has been active in the Security and Executive Protection field in various capacities through out the state of Texas since 2005.  His duties have included serving on one-man protection details and as Team Leader of protection details as large as 40 agents for high-profile clients and celebrities. Leonard has been involved in firearms training as a weapons and tactics instructor since 1999. He is a competitive shooter with an International Defensive Pistol Association (IDPA) Expert rating,and is an IDPA Safety Officer Instructor.  His martial arts background includes the study of Muay Thai, kickboxing, boxing, and edged weapons. Leonard is fully commissioned by the Texas Department of Public
Safety Private Security Bureau as a level 4 Personal Protection Officer. 

 

 

 


 
 

 

 

 

 

 

Chris Frantz holds an Intermediate Peace Officer License and has extensive patrol experience, which includes drug interdiction and high-risk warrant service.  Chris graduated from the FBI Firearms Instructor School, and is certified as a TCLEOSE basic instructor and firearms instructor.  He is also a Taser International Law Enforcement Instructor.  Chris is SWAT-certified and Defensive Designated Marksman-certified, and a member of his precinct's Special Response Group's entry team.  Chris is a graduate of numerous weapon/tactics courses and holds an International Defensive Pistol Association Expert rating.  In addition to law enforcement, Chris is a commissioned Level 4 Personal Protection Officer and has worked in the executive protection field for approximately 5 years on Homeland Security and dignitary protection details.

 


 

 

 Allan McBee  has been active in the Security and Executive Protection field in various capacities, in both Texas and across the country. Current duties include serving as Agent-in-Charge of an ongoing 9 man protection detail providing close protection for a high profile client in the Dallas-Ft. Worth area as well as being part of a 24/7 detail covering a high net worth individual in the area. He has been responsible for the interstate transport of high value, liquid assets across the country and, in August of 2005, served as Advance Man on the Tarrant County transport motorcade involved in the Statewide Weapons of Mass Destruction and Strategic National Stockpile Exercise. This exercise was in conjunction with the U. S. Department of Homeland Security, the Center for Disease Control, the United States Marshals Service, the Texas Department of Public Safety and various local law enforcement agencies. McBee has been involved in firearms training as a weapons and tactics instructor since 1994. He is a competitive shooter with an International Defensive Pistol Association (IDPA) expert rating in the Stock Service Pistol Division and has a martial arts background that includes the study of Judo, Muay Thai, Jui Jitsu, kickboxing, boxing, and edged weapons. Allan is Security/PSD driver certified, a graduate of a Basic SWAT course for LE and PSD operators and fully licensed by the Texas Department of Public Safety Private Security Bureau as a level 4  Personal Protection Officer.
